We designed this page so that before you spend a lot of time going through our long hiring process, we wanted to give you an opportunity to save your time and see if there really is a fit between our culture and what you might be looking for.
At IMEX, we strive hard to make sure we are “Transparent” about our company & about the job. I strongly feel that when hiring a new team member, it is not only important for the company to hire the employee but it is equally important for the employee to decide if the company & the job is right for them.
I feel that not every company is right for every applicant & this letter is an attempt by me to give you a clear picture of our company’ vision, values & the type of people who are likely to be successful in our company, so that you can decide if we are the right company for you.
I strongly “URGE” you to think carefully think about the content in this letter & decide whether or not we are the right company for you.
We are a small company that has grown at a rapid pace with a revenue growth of 95% & 100% respectively in the last 2 years & we strive to maintain those kinds of growth rates at least for the next 2 years.
We are a highly “Ambitious” company & our mission is to create a recognizable “Brand” & to become a leader in the “Sourcing industry” by changing the “traditional” ways of doing things that are deeply ingrained in the sourcing industry.
We feel that while there are some leaders in the “Inspection Industry” such as SGS, the “sourcing industry” is full of several small to medium sized companies & there is space for a “Leadership” position.
We aspire to work towards this & become an industry leader.
Based on experiences of the past employees who have worked at IMEX, we have realised that working for an “ambitious” company can be very rewarding for “ambitious” people who are hungry for knowledge & growth but at the same time are willing to work hard towards that pursuit.
However, it can also be difficult for people who like a more stable 9AM -6PM Job. If you are the latter, then we might not be the right company for you. But if you are looking to fast-track your career & get to a managerial position in a short amount of time & proving that you are good at “Problem-Solving” then we are the right company for you.
We invest a lot of time in designing our training programs & systems as we sincerely believe our people are our most important asset & their development is critical for the company’s overall growth.
At IMEX, “Age” is not considered a criteria when assessing performance, the only criteria we look for is “Results” & we do our best to support people to get those results & invest in our team.
Due to the fast growth rate we are experiencing we currently have lots of opportunities for growth but we are looking for the kind of growth that comes with being a part of a fast growing company
We strongly believe in the concept of “Knowledge Management” & therefore over the years we have tried to document most of our work & we continue to do so.
However, one of our core company values is “Problem-Solving”. We love the challenge of “Solving Problems” & therefore if you get the same thrill from solving problems then we are the right company for you.
However, if you like step by step instructions designed by your manager to help you solve every problem that comes, then we might not be the right company for you. “Proactivity” is one of our key values.
To be a “Leader”, one doesn’t necessarily have to do lots of Big Things, but to do Small things better than the others, each day.
Therefore, we have designed a set of “Values” that we take very seriously and our Values form the basis of the work we do. We look for people who have Personal Values similar to our company values.
As most people spend more than 1/3rd of their Adult Life at Work, we believe it is important that Workplace is Fun, therefore we have adopted “Fun” as one of our values & we strive hard to create an atmosphere where we not only work hard but also play hard.
We strongly believe in the concept of “Knowledge Management” & therefore over the years we have tried to document most of our work & we continue to do so.
Finally, we absolutely love “Technology”. We feel that “Technology” levels the playing field between small & large companies and is one the best ways to improve efficiency & acquire industry leadership.
Therefore, if using Excel at an advanced level excites you, we might be the right company for you but if you Hate technology, you will hate your job at IMEX too as we use a lot of technology at work “to do more, in less time”, which is what our “Efficiency” value is all about.

Join because you’re going to get more responsibility at a young age than you would at a bigger company.
