ACCOUNT MANAGER (SALES TEAM)
(Location: Guangzhou, China)

 

We are on the hunt for an extremely capable Account Manager, who will be a  key player in the Sales Team. The Account Manager will be reporting to the Sales Manager and manage the day to day communications with our clients who are based in the UK, US and Canada.

The Account Manger will work closely with the Sourcing Team to help our clients achieve success in sourcing from China, expand their account size and build solid relationships with their own clients.

You DO NOT need to find leads in this role.

You will be responsible for:

  • Gathering and understanding sourcing requirements from our clients and communicating these to the Sourcing Team
  • Dealing with our clients on a day to day basis and ensuring that the highest level of customer service is provided
  • Helping our clients increase their sales by helping them implement strategies that will expand their account size. (P.S This is not a SALES Job and you DO NOT need to find customers).
  • Doing whatever it takes to make the client successful in China.
  • Scheduling regular calls with clients to understand their pain-points and relaying feedback to relevant teams (Sourcing, IT, etc.) to ensure systems and processes can be constantly updated to WOW the clients. 

Our ideal Account Manager should possess the following:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales position or a sourcing position with experience in communicating directly with the end-client. It’s a plus if you dealt with “international clients” on a regular basis.
  • Exceptional understanding of international trade processes, ideally for consumer products
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. You will be required to speak to clients on the phone on a regular basis
  • Passion for reading (critical in our company) and undergoing training programs
  • Must be able to work at NO. 2 HuaQiang Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou, China
