SOURCING MANAGER
(LOCATION: GUANGZHOU, CHINA)
IMEX Sourcing Services is a Hong Kong -registered sourcing and product development company with team members from various places around the world. We are a technology-driven company catering primarily to clients in the US, UK and more.
We are on the hunt for a Sourcing Manager with a passion for all things sourcing while maintaining company’s “best practices” and quality standards. An ideal Sourcing Manager is dependable in managing the overall activity of the sourcing team and assuring the consistent quality of the team’s output.
You will be responsible for:
- Bringing about incremental improvements in the Opportunity & Project Closure time
- Ensuring above 90% customer satisfaction rate on all projects
- Ensuring that there is a trackable learning plan in place for the sourcing team which includes Training Videos
- Participating in the development of scorecards for each role within the sourcing team
- Resolving conflicts with factories whenever needed
- Ensuring content/documentation is developed in areas where there is a gap in customer understanding and on the ground reality
- Taking care of promotion decisions for the sourcing team, as well as salary discussions and negotiations.
- Ensuring balanced workload between different sourcing executives
- Ensuring that all sourcing & QC procedures are adhered to
Our ideal Sourcing Manager should possess the following:
- At least 5 years work experience in sourcing management in UK/US Market
- Good command of written and oral business-English
- Should be able to speak fluent Mandarin
- At least 5 years of management experience & 10+ years of sourcing experience
- Strong project management skills.
